If you are new to the world of the green and tubby, then here is a little background information:

Elves
Fat, naked, and green...ish. They are the tubby folks this web site is named after!

Faeries
Thin, naked, and with standard pigmentation. They are the little flying women who live with and around the elves. They find the elves to be good company, given that they seem more interested in pursuits other than the goddess-like bodies every faerie seems to possess.

Tubbington - The hometown of the elves and faeries. It pretty much reflects a Midwestern American small town, but with somewhat more liberal tendencies.

Mr. K.
This is the guy with the fig leaf. He is a human who (being fat and short) finds that he is more comfortable in the world of the elves and has chosen to live among them. He is also the owner of the local newspaper, The Fat Naked Elf Page (F.N.E.P.).

Sidekick Tiger
He probably has a real name, but Mr. K. cannot be bothered to remember the names of all the hired help, right? As a personal assistant, he is topnotch, but he seems to be somewhat preoccupied with avenging any slight made against his employer, whom he feels loyal to as they share similar interests in what the Chinese call the "yellow" arts.

Stinky
The go-to skunk and public relations representative for the F.N.E.P. He is overworked and under appreciated. He was relocated to Wanzhou, China, to oversea the printing of the publication once it was discovered that it was cheaper to print overseas and have have the issues shipped to Tubbington. He is also the editor-in-chief of the F.N.E.P., but he often finds it difficult to do his job via the telephone and internet.

Bitchy Elf
Another individual whose real name has become somewhat lost in obscurity (though she does have one). She is the most outspoken of the elves and has her own advice column in The Fat Naked Elf Page. More often than not, she lives up to her name but is beloved (and feared) despite that.

Eggplant Cop
Officer Duwayne Eggplant was transferred from an undisclosed large American city to Tubbington because of his erratic behavior and cavalier attitude towards authority. He is obsessed with finding a solution to the elves' lack of pants.

Molly Crumbcake
She is the F.N.E.P.'s star reporter and is good at digging up scoops. She is fond of action movies and sometimes takes on the persona of the more macho characters she enjoys. Because of this quirk, she is one of the few elves who actually gets along well with Mr. K. The scar across her left eye is the result of an epic battle with a garden rabbit.

Gordon Chubway
A blonde-haired reporter for the F.N.E.P. Like many elves, he would rather do just about anything but work.

Jessica Breathweight
The only faerie on the reporting staff, she is very stylish, well-educated, and urbane.

He-Fat & Skeletub
The two eternally clashing forces on the planet of Eat-ernia. There resemblance to other pop-culture icons is completely coincidental, so don't read too much into that.
